I have been suffering with a virus that has progressed quickly and made me quite poorly. After concerns from the walk in and my own GP I followed instructions to find I still have not gotten rid of this virus. I am now suffering with chest problems and have been told the next appointment I can book is in April, today being 14-03-16... Very poor indeed I will be taking this further.
We are sorry for your experience. Whilst there is a wait for pre-bookable appointments, there are same day appointments that are opened up for our Doctors every morning at 8am. We also have a doctor each day who sees patients that 'need to be seen that day'. To understand what happened in your case we would really appreciate the opportunity to investigate further. If you could give our Practice Manager a call or write in with more details this would enable us to see what happened.
The nurse was exceptionally kind and understanding and helped to put me at ease, despite me dreading this appointment.
Ever wanted to visit a surgery where the entire practice fundamentally understands the concept of customer service?
Ever wanted to be seen when you want to be seen, without calling back time-and-time again?
Ever wanted to receive return phone calls exactly as promised?
Ever wanted to see smiling faces and be on the end of a genuine 'can do' attitude from every member of staff, including the receptionists?
Ever wanted to see a doctor without being made to feel your little more than an inconvenience?
If so, this is the practice for you!
I only wish my family and I hadn't tolerated the antithesis of this level of service at another local practice for over 15 years, where appalling standards from doctors to receptionists alike were the norm. It doesn't have to be like this - even remotely like this - and Bilbrook Medical Centre is a perfect example of this.

Today 12/1/2016 I had an appointment at the surgery I was asked if I would mind seeing a student Doctor. As it was only a minor problem I was happy to go with this. I saw a young lady who was marvelous She listen patiently to what I had to say before giving her advice. She was thorough, polite and very helpful.
I just wish to thank the young lady and say keep up the good work you are doing and I hope you are successful in what you want to achieve.

I recently attended for a cervical smear. I was treated promptly and given a lot of reassurance and talked through the process in a kindly and sympathetic manner. I was informed of when results would return and any possible further ramifications.
Thank you to the practice nurse for making a test that I was not looking forward to into a less stressful procedure and for guiding me through my anxieties in a supportive manner.
The section re receptionist I can really only answer with reference to the touchscreen on entry. maybe a Not applicable option could be added. I will answer offering an overall impression from my time at the practice.
